droppage upgrade- HTML only. Keep styles, scripts, and data inline in one file. Local images in
<img src>are uploaded with the page; they are public to anyone with the URL. - No secrets in the CLI. It signs in as you and never takes a service-role key.
- Exit codes mean something. Non-zero on any failed upload, update, or delete.
- Stay current.
droppage upgradeupgrades in place;droppage --versiontells you where you are.
Built for agents
A contract a program can rely on.
- Data on stdout. A successful upload or update prints the share URL and nothing else.
- Noise on stderr. Progress, warnings, and errors never pollute the value you parse.
- JSON on request.
list --jsonreturns slug, access mode, view count, and last view. - Silent previews. Preview links let an agent check its own work without moving the counter.
- Images come along. Local files in
<img src>are uploaded with the page and their links rewritten; stdout stays the page URL. - Typed tools over MCP.
droppage mcpruns a local MCP server for Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and Claude Desktop, signed in as you. - Pages can expire.
--expires 7don upload, ordroppage expirelater. The page and its images are deleted for good.
Ships as
- Codex skill
- Cursor project rule
- Claude-style project notes
- Plain-text instructions
Agents can also read droppage.dev/llms.txt, generated from these instructions and the CLI README.
Setup droppage for your agent
How it works.
- Can agents use it?
- Yes. JSON output and a stable command contract are first-class, not an afterthought.
- Do previews count?
- They do not increment the public view count. Their delivered HTML still counts toward paid bandwidth.
- Can my page use images?
- Yes. Reference local image files in your img tags and droppage upload sends them with the page, rewrites the links, and publishes. PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, AVIF, and SVG up to 4 MB each, within a per-page budget of 5 MB (Free), 20 MB (Starter), or 50 MB (Builder). Images are deleted with their page. They are public to anyone with the URL and are not covered by a page's password or email gate, so keep sensitive images inline in the HTML. Short MP4 and WebM videos work the same way (in video and source tags, with a poster image), up to 20 MB each, within the same budget.
- Can a page expire?
- Yes, on every plan. Add --expires 7d (or 30m, 12h, 2w, or a date) to upload, or change it later with droppage expire. After that the page shows "This page has expired." to everyone, including you, and a daily cleanup deletes it and its images for good. Nothing expires unless you set it.
- Can I open my own protected page?
- Yes. When you are signed in to droppage.dev, your private, email, and password pages open directly. Every gate has a sign-in link for this.
- What if a renewal payment fails or I want to cancel?
- During payment recovery, paid access remains available while Lemon Squeezy retries the charge. In your account, you can update payment details or manage and cancel your subscription; cancellation keeps access through the paid period.
